It Is highly selfish on the part of telecommunication service providers to demand that they or TRAI be allowed to monitor & restrict the usage of OTT APPLICATIONS such as Whatsapp ,etc to earn extra profit or cover the losses they face due to their own mismanagement & mishandling of consumers .

The companies & TRAI should first concentrate on providing better services to all citizens of This country than to make money on usage of data services by common man of this country on his/her mobiles phones.

Anyway data charges for 2g&3g internet use on mobile phones are not cheap & further adding charges will only force people to either buy extremely costly wifi on go devices these companies provide or revert to old ways of communications such as SMS & Calls which will in both cases increase the revenue of these companies .

When companies in developed country like USA,UK   are supporting the concept of net neutrality why should we deny our own citizens the right to use any application anywhere without paying extra for use of such apps.
I strongly believe these companies will not stop at monitoring & charging extra for use OTT APPS but in future will do same for other apps( m- commerce , healthcare, other essentials)  which come very handy to people at time of urgency or any other emergency.

I SINCERELY REQUEST TRAI NOT TO ENTERTAIN SUCH REQUESTS FROM TELECOM SERVICE PROVIDERS & LET THE NET NEUTRALITY PREVAIL &WITH IT THE RIGHT OF CONSUMERS TO USE ANY MODE OF COMMUNICATION AT AFFORDABLE RATES .
