Telecom companies shouldn't be holding the entire country back just because they want to make some extra money. With cost of Internet connections at home and on mobiles already being so high right now, along with the terrible service that most telecom providers tend to offer, an attempt to regulate OTT services would be pandering to big companies at best, an outright anti-consumer practice at worst.

Please allow for net neutrality and bar Telecoms like Airtel from attempting to cash in on the services we use on the Internet. Since we are already paying for the Internet (quite dearly, might I add), the providers should have no right to dictate what I can or cannot do online. Airtel had recently attempted to charge users extra for using services like Skype on its services, and this has already been a giant step back in bringing India up to date when it comes to technology.

Regulating OTT services is highly anti-development as it stops people from freely communicating each other. As bastions of our constitution, I expect the government to do what is best its peoples, not what is best for the pockets of telecom providers.
