Net Neutrality has been one of the founding principles of the internet which has been around since its early days. Our lives are getting more and more dependent on the internet with each passing day, and so it’s absolutely essential that it be open and fair.
I don't see why Telecom operators need to charge separately for internet based communication services like whatsapp. It's extremely unfair to promote or throttle traffic based on the type of application or website it is coming from/ going to.
The internet is an absolutely essential tool, especially for rural areas. And there you may not have access to anything buy mobile internet. How do you expect rural development if you're going to cripple one of the most important communication tools essential for it?
