Sir/Maam,

This is in regards to the pressure that seems to be put on the TRAI to change regulations by the telecom companies such Airtel and Vodafone.
These rules will only benefit the telecom companies and no one else. There are many arguments for the changes from both the sides but the most important one would be how these changes would stop the regular person from using the internet the way or us being used at the moment.
There has been a massive increase in use of smartphones in India these days and one of the reasons had been cheap internet prices. If regulations are made to benefit the telecom companies, this would disuade a lot of potential new internet users and also stop current users.
Is my humble request that you make sure telecom companies who are only after financial profits, do not succeed in changing the regulations that would take the country a step backwards. Thanks!
Regards,
Stephen
