Hello Mr. Robert. J. Ravi,
A good evening to you.
The internet is the fairest and the most democratic medium available. Once you have access to it, it doesn't discriminate between consumers. It provides everybody the same service. I have seen very poor people using a smartphone to understand laws, using whatsapp to send pictures and videos of their diseased crops to chemists and many such intelligent ways to make their lives simpler and hassle-free. They also use applications to stay in touch with each other. The internet has opened a whole new world to them.
Bringing in differential pricing and additional pricing for OTT services will hit the consumer really hard. Worse, the consumer who is most badly affected is not the middle class or the upper-middle class consumer, but the lower-middle class consumer and below. This shuts the door on their ability to access certain services that the internet provides them today for the same price that it provides an ultra-rich man.
PLEASE SAY NO TO TELECOM SERVICE PROVIDERS' DISCRIMINATORY IDEAS!
