To Whom It May Concern

The internet is critical to India's growth due to the innovation that it allows the common man. Imagine if startups could no longer afford to launch great new products and ground-breaking services because they cannot afford bandwidth costs.

Today, thanks to the internet, school's in remote villages in India have access to top notch teachers in Amsterdam (via Skype), to banking services and doctors for remote consultations, etc. If we were to allow a few corporations to control and determine pricing for internet access/speed; just imagine how much this move would limit innovation.

The United States just passed a law deeming ISP's as utilities (like phone or gas) so that private companies could not throttle the internet by charging for speed on various services.

If we allow private corporations in India to control the internet then we will hamper our country's growth and development agenda, severely.

Please stop this from happening.

Sincerely,
Nikhil
