Dear Mr Ravi,

In reference to consultation paper on regulatory framework for OTT services, I would like to state that independence of internet should not be hampered by Telecom service providers. Regarding the matter of revenue sharing, I believe that some sharing arrangement between telecom and OTT providers can be devised. But, letting telecom companies charge extra for VoIP would be holding yourself back despite having the technology. Any such rule would hamper the possible growth of this country and is certainly not in national interests.

It is not the problem of technological availability, but of the revenue sharing for network maintenance. I would strongly urge TRAI to not allow extra charges for VoIP and preserve net neutrality.

Thank you!

With Regards,
