Sir,
It came to my attention that telecom are taking steps to restrict fair access to the internet (Net Neutrality). As an Indian who lives for the most part of the year in a village, the restriction of mobile data is a concern for me. Allowing telecoms to regulate the cost and the flow of data puts a restriction on what according to me should be a free resources. The internet is a medium for communication and to restrict it in such a manner would be fatal for many relations and it also completely undermines the needs of the people (most people I know also get their internet only from a mobile connection, and the regulation would put a lot of monetary stress on them and probably cause them to stop using internet).
The concern about telecom providers not being able to invest in speed and growth might also be only secondary in this case. Telecoms have and can expand further without taking much losses. Airtel itself is turning out a huge profit given the space.
Please, preserve net neutrality for the betterment of the citizens as a whole
