Dear Sir/Madam,
I am against net neutrality where charges on apps used are to be levied on smartphone users. Not only will it add additional cost to our monthly phone budget but will also deter us to use smartphone apps or smartphone itself. From the news I read, I understand that extra basic charges will be levies on Google & Facebook @ 30/- per month each, Whatsapp @ 75/- per month, flipkart & amazon @ 50/- per month each and so on. Approx., it will add 300/- more per month additional to already paid to the owner of these companies. Whatsapp charges Rs. 60/- annually.
Moreover, private operators such as vodafone, airtel are already charging high rates for internet usage which is 250/- per month for 1 GB and taxes extra. In this situtation it is extremely unfair that net neutrality charges are to be levied additionally.
Thus, I am strongly against such net neutrality charges.
