As a citizen of India it is my opinion that we must first serve the people of this country.

In the issue of net neutrality, the only voices calling for OTT services to be charged are the telecom companies. India as a democratic and open market system shuns monopolies, yet if this is allowed to happen, ins't it representative of a monopoly? Monopoly over whatever charges the telecom companies think they want to charge us.

The reason why services like Viber and whatsapp are flourishing is that Telecom companies were lazy and did not look at the customers wants but were resting knowing the consumer had no option. Now that the consumer has an option rather than getting competitively better they just want to take away the services advantage by lobbying.

I am thouroughly against that and I hope you see the many HUMAN voices going against it despite companies and conglomerates supporting it.
