Sir,
I am writing this email to register my strong support for net neutrality. I have gone through the consultation paper
http://trai.gov.in/content/news/71241_0.aspx. And i strongly believe bringing in differential price/speeds isn't the right way to go about it.
Not that i am a better judge then you are. But i still believe in some facts.
India after all its world economic presence around the globe is still rightfully a third world country. There are still people who do not have full time electricity or water supply, the very basic and essential amenities for humanity anywhere on the globe.
With changing times, and world getting flat because of the technology. I believe internet has become a strong basic presence in every once life. It has become a medium of masses to express freely there thoughts.
Where organisations like
internet.org are realising this very fact, on the other hand if the TRAI decides to implement differential
pricing.it won'y just be counter productive it would be hindering the very mission that has yet to reach any respectable mark into people's life.
I strongly believe a Democratic country like India should keep the welfare of its citizens above anything else. atleast when it comes to technology. If we wish to go ahead in future
Thanks
In support of net neutrality.
Your Truly
Ishan
