Dear Sir,
As a citizen of a free country, I have always had a choice in most matters. With respect to the differential pricing/speeds that telecom companies like Airtel, Vodafone, etc are asking for, I feel that it is a violation of my freedom to choose. I am a heavy user of data packs from these telecom companies and I find using apps like WhatsApp, Gmail Hangouts, etc to be far more essential than using regular text messages. Charging me for using a third party application is unfair and takes away the basic premise of it being a "FREE" app that is available over the internet to download.
I am in support of Net Neutrality. I refuse to support the demands that these telecom companies are making. Everyone has to be given a choice. The internet is a free space. Taking away that freedom to use this 'free space' according to how I would like to use it is a violation of our basic constitution.
I sincerely hope that the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India considers a citizen's plea to respect Net Neutrality and the Liberty to Choose.
Thanking you.
Yours Faithfully,Karinina Fernandes.
