Should the OTT players offering communication

services (voice, messaging and video call services) through

applications (resident either in the country or outside) be brought

under the licensing regime? Please comment with justifications.

Answer:-Well the simple answer should be no.

Instead they should let these application surf internet through normal data connection.

If they brought these applications under licensing regime then they can suffer from loss as video calling and voice and messaging through internet takes up a lot of internet data due to which people will start buying more expensive internet plans and they will gain profit but people will just get some cheaper telcom sim to call and sms if they get under licensing as it would get a lot more expensive then
