Dear TRAI,
This email is in support of Net Neutrality. I want to ensure I, as a citizen, am free to access information on the internet without having to pay differentially.
Allowing Telcos and ISPs to call the shots, will just deepen their pockets and make it tougher for citizens to access information freely. People will be only be able to access things they can afford.
This is similar to electricity being charged differently depending on the devices being used. Imagine if we were charged differently for using a fridge as opposed to a fan. Companies with deep pockets will win this race and the consumers will lose out.
I have faith that the TRAI will take a decision in the favour of net neutrality and also in favour of its citizens.
Thanks
Janani
