Dear TRAI

It seems the telecom companies have unprecedented power over the people just because they won some bids for spectrum. It is a good time to remind everyone that what they won was a right to deliver services to people, while they could make money out of it.

Now that people are choosing alternative services through their services, they want to change the rules. They aren't trying to improve their services or deliver new ones in order to remain competitive. All they care about is their margins, not about the people.

We should remind ourselves, that the people should be first and foremost. Not at the cost of business, I understand. But then business should not be at the cost of people.

There will be millions who will find information services like Whatsapp and Skype too expensive to use. This limits the flow of information and the telecom companies want to charge us for this.

PLEASE. EVEN IF NOT EVERYONE IS AWARE OF THIS AT THE MOMENT AND CANNOT TELL YOU THEIR OPINION AGAINST THIS RIGHT NOW, DO NOT GIVE IN.

In India we like to react late, which many of will do should you allow Net Neutrality to go down the drain. Do not wait for the nation to unite in protest as as happened in many other countries. Be proactive. Think about the people.

Thank you
