I write in defense of Net Neutrality. 

I've been living in a world where the internet is open and there has never been a priority over services in the internet. I am a computer science major and to me this means, I could potentially build an Internet based company who's services might benefit millions of people across India. 

Without net neutrality, even if my web based service was better, if I do not have the same buying power to pay internet service providers for higher share in bandwidth, my service may seem slow and cannot compete. In extension, this disrupts the free market that exists in the Internet where the best services get popular, to, a market where only people who can pay internet service providers can remain relevant. Essentially stifling innovation! New and innovative companies cannot thrive in an age without net neutrality.

I hence urge TRAI to consider building laws that sustain and cherish the open internet.
