Hi,
I used to spend Rs. 18 to get 100 SMS per day free for 30 days.

Today I spend Rs. 197 a month for 3G data connections, which invariably gets over by 20 days. Let's assume I spend Rs. 250 a month on 3G internet.

So, the telecom companies want me to pay more to use whatsapp. I would rather stop using data connection and get back to paying Rs. 18 per month for free SMS. I guess that will make the telecom companies happy because the SMS revenue will increase.

What about the data connection revenue? Does their stand make sense to you? I read somewhere that it is similar to a vegetable seller asking for Rs. 20/kg if you are making aloo gobi and Rs. 40/kg if you are making french fries.
