Sub : AirTel's Reluctance to substantiate their DEMANDS for Payment, Refusal to permanently withdraw 033-40047219  and HARASSMENT by Recovery Agents

Dear Sirs,

Your kind attention is drawn to the following :

1.     From the trailing  mails you will observe that I have been repeatedly requesting (in writing) AirTel to withdraw the above connection IMMEDIATELY as I am TOTALLY DIS-SATISFIED with AirTel's Services and more so at AirTel's constant attempts to CHAT and DEFRAUD Customers in various ways but inspite of these repeated written requests  AirTel has so far FAILED and NEGLECTED to WITHDRAW the above connection. Instead AirTel is playing games as usual and has QUIETLY / ON THE SLY Re-connected the Services which AirTel had ILLEGALLY and WITHOUT REASIN WITHDRAWN on 26-03-2015. After failing to either reply / respond  to my repeated Mails requesting AirTel to IMMEDIATELY RE-CONNECT the Services since there was NO REASON / JUSTIFICATION to dis-connect Services, AirTel is now indulging in their DIRTY TRICKS. AirTel is ONCE AGAIN ADVISED IN THEIR OWN INTEREST TO IMMEDIATELY PERMANENTLY WITHDRAW 033-4004729

2.     AirTel Officials (Nodal Officer, Appellate Officer as well as Customer Care are already aware that I was first informed by your Customer Care that my Bill for October 2014 was pending. However, vide my Letter dated 24 February 2015 addressed to the Nodal Officer alongwith which I had enclosed a Excel Sheet showing that NO PAYMENT was Pending. Thereafter, AirTel changed tracks and your M/S Yogita (Nodal Team) vide her Mail dated 17 March 2015 wrote "As discussed on 9433381303 ,we request you to please refer the excel sheet again ,as we have observed difference in payment after date 27/Feb/2013.". Accordingly vide my Mail dated 27 March 2015 I had informed AirTel's Nodal Officer with Copy to 'asen@trai.gov.in'; 'advqos@trai.gov.in'; 'ap@trai.gov.in' that NO PAYMENT was due from me and to prove my point I had attached again another Excel Sheet showing all Bill details alongside Payment details against each Bill. This Excel Sheet was attached alongwith many other / subsequent mails too. As proof of evidence, please refer to the attached PDF File. It may be noted that thereafter, AirTel officials have NOT CONTACTED ME ON THIS ISSUE but I have been constantly receiving DISTURBING CALLS FROM AIRTEL's RECOVERY AGENTS CLAIMING THAT MY PAYMENT IS DUE

Instead of RESOLVING / CLOSING the issue or DISPUTING MY EXCEL SHEET with FACTS and FIGURES so that I can Verify at my end, AirTel has acted in a MOST HIGH-HANDED, UN-LAWFUL and UN-DEMOCRATIC MANNER by :

a.     DIS-CONNECTING ? DEBARRING SERVICES to the above Line thereby causing me immense MENTAL & PHYSICAL AGONY alongwith FINANCIAL LOSSES & LOSS OF PRESTIGE

b.    HARASSMENT and MENTAL AGONY by the constant Phone calls frm AirTel\s Recovery Agents who speak in a most rude and threatening manner. This afternoon I received a similar call from +91-993119836 at 12:27 pm and the Call has been RECORDED.

AirTel is once again requested to IMMEDIATELY WITHDRAW the above Landline / Broadband. However, in this context I pledge that any payment found / proved Outstanding against the above connection together with the Current Month's Due for the period February - March 2015 which Bill has been just received on 04-03-2015 will be  paid by me.

Please also note that :

1.     In order to protect my myself and my family and my property from AirTel's Recovery Agents / Goons, I am filing a Police Complaint with the Bidhannagar (North) Police Station

2.     Permanently withdrawing the above Connection will NOT in anyway deprave me of my rights to take the matter forward / file a complaint in the Consumer Court / District Consumer Redressal Forum and claim Damages / Compensation for all the Losses (Financial as well as otherwise), Harassment, Mental and Physical Agony and other losses / damages caused to me

Dear Sir,

This is to officially instruct you that I am  TOTALLY DISGUSTED at AirTel's SERVICES and REPEATED ATTEMPTS TO CHEAT. DEFRAUD and HARASS Subscribers and hence I am  NO LONGER interested in your Services and hence request you to dis-connect / withdraw all Services from the above Landline Number with effect from 01 April 2015

Since your PVC Piping, Junction Box etc. are installed / affixed to the wall of my PRIVATE PROPERTY, you are hereby advised, in your own interest to remove these IMMEDOATELY, latest within Saturday 04-04-2015

Please note that NO PAYMENTS will be made for any Bills/ Invoices pertaining to any period after 01 April 2015. The ONLY Payment pending is for the Billing Cycle 26 February 2015 to 25 March 2015 which has NOT BEEN RECEIVED till date.

Please note that ALL OTHER PAYMENTS for all Other / Previous Billing Cycles have ALREADY BEEN PAID EARLIER

I can provide  copies of all previous communications with your Kolkata / West Bengal officials to give you a sense of the going-ons in your Kolkata / West Bengal sector. This issue is being escalated to the Ministry  as well as to TRAI and to the Consumer Court. Such incidences / attempts to CHEAT and DEFRAUD Subscribers and subsequently black-mail / Harass them cannot continue indefinately. The Nation is changing and changing fast.
