I am a student of IIT,guwahati. Being a student of computer science, even the proxy restricted Internet with udp ports blocks seems unacceptable to me.
But i write to you just to ask you one thing :
KEEP THE INTERNET NEUTRAL.
You are given power BY THE PEOPLE , and its in the best interest of people.I am sure you have more than qualified people to inform you the same. If not you can refer to THE NETHERLANDS where agitation by the people led to net neutrality eventually.
We are a democracy and it is high time we take decisions in favor of common public without any Dharna or rebellion.
Everyone uses the internet today and i'm sure if it comes to that the nation will stand against net regulations,its better to do it yourselves and be hero's in the first place rather than passing a law, facing fair opposition and eventually ending up changing it anyways. ( it is not a warning , just the plain situation and a voice of the billions who have put you to power.)
