You've been doing a great job in regulating the telecom operators and helping the people across the country connect with one another. Kudos for efforts and the work done.

Coming to the actual point of the mail, I am writing this mail to voice my opinion about the telecom operators trying to curtail internet users from using Whatsapp, Skype and other like services. I am AGAINST this move by the telecos as the internet was built to be open, free and accessible to all. Charging customers extra money to use such services goes against that philosophy. 

People from countries all over the world are fighting against this and as a proud Indian and a citizen of an upcoming Superpower, we shouldn't be left behind. Doing this will only mean pushing ourselves back and taking away power from the people and giving it in the hands of the giant corporates. That is where the TRAI comes in (you know that.. Haha!) in regulating these telecos and ensuring Internet Freedom in India is kept safe.

I am very hopeful that TRAI will not give in to the telecos demands and protect the Internet Freedom in the World's Emerging Superpower.
