Dear sir,
Here are my few few suggestions for betterment & quality of telecom services to the citizens of country
In my opinion there must be uniform rate of call charges allowing operators in the form of minuets & not in the form of per minuets since poor connectivity by the telecom operator, there is frequent call drops & even on one second connectivity the operator deducts charges equal to one minuet . Now instead of call per minuet they must change the tariff in to free minuets say on 50 or 100 Rs they will allow say 100 or 200 minuets free talk time in this amount. Now if the operators call is dropped repeatedly the consumer's seconds will be deducted instead of one minuet due to poor connectivity as it is being practiced in other countries like u.s.
There must be uniformity in the speed of Internet to the consumer through out the period. Presently the operator declares that we will give 7 Mbps speed but after coming in to agreement & on receiving payment, he gives less that 1 Mbps speed hence in 3 g service there must be minimum fixed speed & if the operator is unable to give the declared speed, operator must give full refund to the consumer on failure . Unless there in no fixed accountability consumer will find him self cheated with no alternative of redressal to him.
There must be no roaming charges as in other countries like u.s.,being independent States where as in India being one country has different tariff all over India & in the name of connectivity consumer finds himself cheated due to frequent call drops with high roaming charges.
Recently Airtel declared net profit of more than 14th. Crores as an earning in third quarter of this financial yr. After further expenditure on the extension of better & improved service, just imagine how much the earning the telecom operators have. TRAI must put the cap on the ratio of earning by the tel. Operator since it is now an essential services that too advanced communicator of social service
With thanks
