Dear Sir,
Charging for individual services from Service Providers will lead to them having overall control on what services we use.
1) If they were to slow down a particular service, we would be forced to move to another service. And the service providers should have no right to dictate that to us. It also creates a conflict of interest as they are promoting certain in house services.
2) The aim of Digital India Initiative - To transform India into a digitally
empowered society and knowledge economy - will be seriously hit if net neutrality is violated as access to the empowering and knowledge services will likely become costly and be at the whims and fancies of the service providers.
Request you to please help maintain net neutrality. If the operators are facing losses, let them increase the data rates on the whole instead of trying to recover their losses by violating net neutrality.
