Dear TRAI and Airtel,

You both have played an important part in shaping the Mobile revolution in India.

My first mobile connection was an Airtel in 2000 and I now use Broadband by Airtel at my residence. Currently, I count as one of your higher ARPU customers.

I have recently read some disturbing news that you are planning on launch services that will change neutral access to the Internet.

While I appreciate that you might think it beneficial to customers and businesses, it disturbs the basic tenet of Internet access. You might think it strange that so many people are opposing it, but the fact is that when you go down the road of creating logic for changing neutral access to the Internet, you can create a logic for anything. It stops the process of innovation and discovery and destroys the spirit that is the core of the Internet.

If that happens, I, for one, will not appreciate it.

I want my Internet to stay neutral and free.

I request you to ensure that it does so.

Thanking you,
Yours sincerely

Maneet
