Dear Sir/Madam,

It is quite disheartening to see the possibility of TRAI ruling in favour of Telcos over net neutrality. It is true that the telecom operators might be facing some losses because of a variety of voice message/calling apps and services. But, when we look at the overall development agenda, standing against net neutrality is going to cost us a lot. People need equal speeds and access to internet and it can't be the privilege of the big few sites/service providers who can spend big.

You might have observed how The Netherlands enacted the net neutrality laws. Though some of the other developed countries are considering to move against net neutrality, it might not be a wise decision in India and definitely not in line with the development agenda of this government.

Sincerely request you to consider the overall scenario and possibilities before you decide to back the telcos in this matter.

Regards,
Sangeetha
