Dear TRAI,

I write this to you as a concerned and proud netizen of modern India.

Me and my friends are vociferously against the concept of net neutrality and would like to urge you do whatever it takes to prevent the internet from going in the hands of a few seedy ISP’s. 

I run a small business and so do many people in my community. The internet is the centre of our business activities and due to the neutral nature of the internet (in its present state) we are able to fairly compete for revenue in a healthy business environment. Such an environment helps promote business and, at large, helps boost the economy of the nation. 

By taking away this neutrality, unfair advantage would be given to a chosen few who have deep enough pockets to buy off this neutrality. It will lead to the decline of the business class in India and would discourage future businessmen and innovators. 

I hope you understand how important this issue is and take every step in your power to stop a few ISP’s from owning the internet.
