Respected sir/madam,

Internet is a wonderful tool for spreading information, connecting to people, business, entertainment and is almost becoming a basic need. But some providers , in their blind glare of profits, have decided to charge separately for some services, which is really illogical, like the analogy given below.

We get electricity from your local electricity provider.

The electricity provider doesn't care if we use it for a geyser, a heater, or a tubelight. He is therefore ‘neutral’ to how you use it.

How nonsensical would it be if the electricity provider provides cheaper electricity only for the steam iron?

And if he felt like it, he could make it expensive for you to use electricity for the geyser.

That does sound illogical, doesn’t it? That’s exactly what some providers want to do with the broadband they offer you on mobile devices. The most notorious is, Airtel.

As a concerned person who doesn't want India to follow the ruin which is America (Coca cola cheaper than water, junk food cheaper than fresh vegetables) , I request you to preserve net neutrality.
