Greetings,

In the wake of recent events over Net Neutrality, I am writing to you this email to share my opinion on the same.

I share the same sentiment and reasoning like the many who have already expressed their demand for net neutrality. It is vital that internet usage is kept free irrespective of the service. A proper research has to be done by an impartial committee to investigate the claims made by Telecom companies about extra overload on their infrastructure.

I have learned that laws on Net Neutrality have been implemented in The Netherlands in the wake of similar concerns. If it is possible there, it should be possible here too and I see no reason why it shouldn't be.

I fear many Telecom lobbyists will be on full throttle to derail our Government's healthy motives but I plead that such moves are ignored and a fair decision be made.

On the other hand TRAI could bring out regulations to revamp infrastructure, identify lapses in the system so that the said overload is solved without burdening the layman; thereby still ensuring net neutrality. I am sure such a proposal would be largely welcomed and many start-ups and organizations will be eager to be a part of it.

To conclude, as a staunch believer of democracy, I believe in our government and its motives. Please don't disappoint us. Please bring us net neutrality.

Thanks!

Yours Sincerely,

Krishnakumar Subramanian (a concerned Indian)
