Internet usage and utilization of proper services through it has become an integral part of the working of most of the communities, not just religion or caste, but artists, businessman, and others too. It will be disastrous to have sky high pricing on everything, given that most of the new businessman, entrepreneurs and artists are bringing in loads of income to our country through their activities on the internet, ethical and legal activities, mind you. Destroying Net Neutrality will be like a slit on the many throats of such upcoming skilled people. The rich wont mind, the already BPL won't bother, its the middlemen like you and me who will be affected the most. Sure, the telecom companies would get huge profits and many OTT activities will be controlled, BUT, the only thing that has allowed India to reach out further than it could ever have in the past decade, has been its easy connectivity to the world. Remember that.
