Respected TRAI,

There is so much buzz around mobile sim service providers are trying to fool people and cash-in more money by imposing their rules on how certain websites/apps should be used by user.

This is just insane (even just a thought of this!). People buy internet packs use all websites/apps(whichever they want to) at the same speed and freedom. Now, these people are planning to charge more based on the websites or apps being used frequently (apart from what the user has already paid for internet service pack).

I mean, in what world this seems to be a thoughtful idea to someone? (I seriously don't understand this.)

I hope this example below shows what we(the people of India) are trying to say.
For Ex.

A person is paying for electricity at his/her home every month based on the total units used in the house.
Now a person from the electricity board comes to their house tomorrow, and tells them that from next month onwards they are differentiating pricing based on which electronic appliances are used more and they're going to generate bill based on that.
So for ex. If we've used,
1) TV for 60 hours in a month there is a different set of pricing.
2) Refrigerator for 600 hours there is a different pricing.
3) Bulbs, tube-lights and fan for 500 hours there is a different set of pricing.

And the total bill will be the sum of all this. This DIFFERENTIAL PRICING IS ILLEGAL and this is what exactly these service providers are trying to do.

As citizen of this great country India, I request you to PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW THIS. I urge you to PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW service providers this privilege to charge more based on websites/apps being used. I hope, these requests can't go unheard.

Thanks and Regards,
Kaustubh S. Raval
Citizen of India.
