Hello,

I strongly oppose TRAI's new regulations on OTT players as it is against the fundamentals of internet usage.

This new law need not to be implemented as this is discrimination against internet services and users who use it. if those so called Telecom companies are in loss due to this then they need to innovate themselves and stop unnecessary looting users for money in the name of services.

Telecom companies needs to understand this if you want to succeed and compete than you need to support this OTT services to remain free to use. Why not make a similar system only better if you want to compete.

TRAI can put regulation regarding sensitive contents but they need to be available free of cost to users who use these services. if you put these new regulations this will not stop users, as they will find new ways to make use of services. no matter how much you want, you cant regulate this.

Instead to put unnecessary regulations, TRAI needs to first make sure internet reaches to general public as in india a 1mb connection cost minimum 1000 rs/month for users, how many users can afford such high price in india when people in this country don’t even have enough money to buy food on daily basis.

I am optimistic that people of india will fight it strongly and goverment has to stop this.

I hope you understand the situation here and hope that you do not put such regulations.

Thanks..
