As a concerned internet user of India I am really concerned about the Telecom companies priorities behind this net neutrality issue. Internet should be free to use for all and anyone paying for internet must not be forced into paying extra for additional services like voip calling and internet messaging services. Why should people have to pay for such ridiculous things when already they are paying for the internet. Net neutrality laws must be implemented or there will be a huge outcry in our country. There has been public outcry over this issue in the Netherlands and the outcry was so much that they had to implement the net neutrality laws. I commend the Netherlands government for this step. It is backwards to charge for extra services and fast lanes for some internet providers to some websites and not for the others. This is downright discrimination and lopsided system. Laws for net neutrality must be implemented. Telecom companies must not be allowed to go through with this and it must be curbed in its bud.
