Dear TRAI,

You have looked out for us on several occasions, and we are grateful to you for that.
If it were not for sensible decisions by you, we would have lost all hope of appealing for a better internet.

As consumers, we are already reeling under the heavy charges imposed by telecom companies for 3G/2G data. On top of this, if we end up having to shell out varied amounts for the access to various online services, it will be a sad day for democracy, and cut-throat capitalism will have won.

In this age of IT and Internet, please bear in mind that we as a people should have the right to unfettered access to the information we access.

The telecom companies can always increase the cost of the internet package, but should not meddle with the way that we access data

This "revenue loss" excuse by the companies is nothing but a ploy to generate super bumper profits (at the expense of the consumer) for the next years.

It is my heartfelt appeal to you as a decision maker in this regards, to look out for the common man.

Hoping for the right decision from you!

Best Regards,
Bharat
