Hello,

Please find below my opinion on the issue of enforcing Net neutrality rules in India:

1. The mobile operators and internet service providers should not be permitted to discriminate and throttle traffic based on the type of service. This will prevent the  operators from twisting the rules to monopolize the market by throttling other services.

2. The mobile operators have complained about their loss of revenue due to drop in messaging and call service usage, but they fail to declare the substantial increase in their data revenue.

3. Also refer to the recent rulings from the FCC of United states and the Netherlands where net neutrality rules were enforced.

4. For the country to progress, all data and services should be treated equally and no discrimination should be done simply on the basis of revenue loss of few mobile operators and internet providers.

Thanks and Regards,
Divagar. V
