Hello,
right off the bat, i'd like to thank you for allowing the citizens of our country to voice their opinions on matters, such as Net Neutrality that directly impact their interaction with the world.. Thank you for following and respecting the democratic process..

I'd like to share my concerns regarding the same,
i feel that the lack of Net Neutrality, will in the long run, have adverse negative effects on our overall growth and development.. we are in an age, where, thanks to rapidly advancing communication technologies, the world on the whole is shrinking and business, education, development, ideas etc are multiplying at the speed of thought.. We need our information streams to be unfiltered.. Speaking for myself, i'm a self taught musician and writer, both of my vocations could be advanced greatly, thanks to unbridled access to information.. As you are well aware, the internet has become one of the most indispensable tools for learning and we cannot compromise on this for the sake of our future generations..

Today, we are one of the youngest democracy's in the world, and together we can surely take our great nation to even greater heights, but a lot of that hope is lying on the ease of access to information, without which we might not have the basic building bricks of knowledge to further our dreams.. Information should be made universal so that one can be given the opportunity to not fall in the trappings of darkness and misunderstanding..

We, as a nation, are already well versed with such practises as 'Divide and Rule' and sadly without Net Neutrality we will soon start reliving such a past, where only the rich will be able to have information and the poor will be left to fend for themselves.. I implore you to please vote in favour of Net Neutrality..

I'm not well versed with the financial side of things but after several discussions with my peers, i've been informed that while the company's lobbying against Net Neutrality are citing financial gains for doing so, but please be aware that the real cost will actually be the freedom and right to information for millions of Indians in the process..

Thank you again for allowing the citizens of India to voice their concerns regarding such an important issue.. Hope we do manage to convince you of the importance of Net Neutrality..

Regards,
Bharat Vyas
