The imbalances do exist in the regualtory environment of the OTT players but not the context of their operation, rather in the context of the social security addressabilty.
There are many ill practices conducted on social media like spreading of hatred among different communities or hinging the privacy of personal lives (ex. Leaking of obscure MMS's through mediums like whatsapp). The govt must ensure steps on curbing such practices by introducing regulatory framework thag address social issues like the ones mentioned above.
