Dear Sir,

This is with reference to the consultation paper published by TRAI - https://trai.gov.in/content/news/71241_0.aspx

At the outset, we realize that the effect of adopting the proposed framework of OTT services, is not in favor of general public and promotion of Internet in our developing nation. We believe that this will create a significant burden on consumers.

Whats shocking is that instead of creating technologies to increase bandwidth, we are heading towards a model that is restrictive. We already know that the current 3g service provided by telecom operators is a Joke. The person reading this email can concur right now and try to operate on his network. Paying a premium for higher speeds for specific websites is a farce to cover up incompetencies of telecom providers to honor their current commitment to offer quality 3g services.

I, as a concerned citizen, throws a challenge to you and the technical expertise within our country to boost bandwidth, not penalize consumers by such proposals.

Yours Faithfully,
Aman Masjide
