Dear TRAI,

I write to you to express my discontent with the actions being taken to restrict fair access to the internet.

The internet should always be free. Its not the mandate of a telecom company to tell me which websites I can and cannot visit. You can't allow them a platform to push their agenda, it could lead to companies pushing them to block their rivals. Its not so much of a leap.

Our whole push towards a freer market hinges on the fact that we promote competition. Yes, the telcom companies may be losing money but its not the end of the road for them, and its certainly not the governments problem to bail them out even before there is an actual problem, certainly not at the cost of its citizens.

Maybe these companies could reinvent their strategy- their success cannot and should not be at the cost of the internet.

Therefore, I ask it of you to ensure a fair access to the internet, one that is long term, one that doesn't run to whims of the telcos.

Regards
