Dear Sir,

I was recently made aware of what the government plans to do regarding the internet and I would really like it if the internet is made neutral, as it originally is.

Internet is a free source which should not be regulated. The amount of new startups and entrepreneurs who will be deprived of their livelihood are numerous. The telecom companies become a HUGE hurdle in the way of new projects by students, aspiring startup-ers as telecos get to regulate how we access the internet.

Think of Google, Microsoft, Apple, Dropbox, Facebook, Twitter. There are sooo many more organisations which started in the garage and now are the big shots in western countries. India can have their own Google/Facebook... only if we don't allow the telecos to overtake the internet.

I understand that the new government is an industry-friendly government. Let me help  you bring light to the fact that, telecos earning only helps a few. Startups create more jobs than ever, plus they grow exponentially only because of the internet. The startup trend in india is picking up. Look at Flipkart.

I myself am doing a project which I plan to deploy very soon. This ruling will ruin my whole 4 years of hard work, just like so many other people who have been working hard to really make a difference.

Internet servers as a neutral platform where everyone is the same. Only the best project/site/service wins. Doesn't matter who it is by. There can only be one way to achieve this and be appreciated by the people than the Modi led govt already is, to support net neutrality.

There was a recent FCC ruling in the USA regarding the same thing. Guess what? FCC ruled in support of net neutrality.

I really believe that the govt can do good for the citizens of its country. Internet is as good as a fundamental right in the metropolitan cities and regulating it by letting the telecos will be unconstitutional. I hope the government makes the right decision
