Dear TRAI

As a citizen of a free nation and as a person who wants my country to grow, I wholeheartedly oppose this atrocious move which threatens freedom of the internet- my personal freedom - and casts heavy doubts on the ethical standards of the TRAI itself, and its capacity to act as a regulatory body keeping in mind the fact that it is so blinded as to propose such an amendment.

To summarize a response to your arguments- OTTs are the prerogative of the users of the internet, and the Network providers are just that - network providers. They are there to facilitate, and if they want to eat in further into everything that has been possible over their network, it would hamper the nation's growth.

I consider this move akin to being asked to pay Re.1 for a phone call to my home and Rs.1000 for a phone call to my employer- it is atrocious.

Please do not implement a measure which will make millions lose faith in the system

Regards,
A concerned citizen
