Dear Officials,

My name is Vinit Agrawal and i am a Software Engineer working in Bangalore. I want to give my strong opinion on the recent issues of Net Neutrality raised in the country and i want to thank the TRAI for asking the people, for consultation in regards to the same.

My opinion in this regards is strongly in support of Net Neutrality of the internet. That is towards the internet as it exists right now, without giving the telecom operators, and Internet Service providers any rights to choose and select the speed of specific site or content providers.

The argument for my support for Net Neutrality is simple:

1. The Right to surf, browse and stream from any site belongs to the user who already paid the ISPs for their service and hence they have no place to decide or prioritize any specific site on their channels

2. If they get into the business of prioritizing and deciding the fate of sites, content providers and startups on their channels, then it will give them immense power over the whole of internet economy. it will be like the manufacturers of roads who built the roads on govt land, after taking the toll, deciding who can and cannot drive on that road.

My appeal to you is to please do not let this happen, it will severely impact the growth of Digital India and will drive away a lot of business and growth outside.

Thanks and Regards
