TRAI MySpeed
This application allows you to measure your data speed experience and sends the results to TRAI. The application captures and sends coverage, data speed and other network information along with device and location of the tests. The app does not send any personal user information. All results are reported anonymously.
The new version of TRAI MySpeed App will enable TRAI to obtain test-data from users in all service areas, without any action by the users. These tests would be brief, very infrequent for a specific device, free to the user and anonymous. The user may also do a test and submit the results, as before
TRAI Channel Selector App
The App offers the functionality via which consumers can view their DPO’s offerings, fetch the existing subscription details, choose & optimize channel and Bouquet selection, modify existing selection and set selection with respective DPOs.
The App will suggest an optimum configuration i.e. combination of Channels/Bouquet based on consumer’s selection so as to reduce total monthly bill. In addition, will suggest combination of Channels/Bouquet based on consumer’s interest keeping in view geographical, regional, language, genres, etc. preferences.
TRAI MyCall
People face a lot of issues due to low voice call quality and inability to express their opinion on a centralized platform. MyCall app provides a platform to all telecom subscribers in India to Crowdsourcing their opinion through feedback rating process.
TRAI APPS
With a view to bring all five TRAI Apps on single platform, TRAI has launched ‘TRAI Apps’. This one app has all the TRAI mobile apps namely Channel Selector App, DND 3.0, MySpeed listed at one place. ‘TRAI Apps’ provides user an interface to access all TRAI mobile apps from single screen.
